Sheriff Asks for Public's Help with Unsolved Rutherford County Murder

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  -- The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help with a recent, unsolved murder.

Forty-seven-year-old Jackie Graham Warpoole was found shot dead in his car at the Alamaville Road exit on I-24 December 15.

Sheriff’s investigator Todd Sparks says police believe Warpoole was in the Murfreesboro area just before his death and are hoping someone may have seen him there.

“We believe he was in the Murfreesboro are between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. and we are asking for any help from the public from anyone who may have come into contact with him or his vehicle during that timeframe; which was a silver Dodge Magnum with tinted windows.”

Warpoole’s family members and friends established a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of suspect or suspects in the case.
