Shots fired Tuesday at a home in north Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A Murfreesboro man says two men took a shot at him Tuesday as he stood outside his home on the north side of the city.

General Westmoreland Circle resident Matthew B. Jacobs says he stepped outside to smoke a cigarette around 2:45 pm. Tuesday afternoon. He tells police a black BMW pulled up and the man in the passenger seat leaned out the window and took a shot at him.

The 33-year-old Jacobs reported that he didn’t recognize either man, but did say they appeared to be Asian.

The police incident report says that Jacobs was taken to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital, but there’s no word on what if any injuries he may have suffered during the incident.
