Tennessee Senator pushes President Trump for answers on Russia contacts

WASHINGTON, DC. (WMOT)  --  Tennessee Senator Bob Corker has asked President Donald Trump to move quickly to answer questions about Russian influence at the White House.

Corker is the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and says the nature of the relationship between Trump's associates and Russian officials  is “the big elephant in the room.”

The Chattanooga Times Free Press says Corker’s comments come on the heels of the resignation of Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

Beyond the Russia question, Corker says President Trump’s foreign policy is, in most respects, “evolving to a better place.”
