Vandal Hits Murf. Business for 5th Time, $8700 in Damage

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A Murfreesboro business has been vandalized for the fifth time this year and the latest incident resulted in more than $8,700 in damage.

Country Used Tire owner Milad Shakibaei called police yesterday to report that vandals had struck his Memorial Blvd. business once again.

An MPD incident report says Shakibaei’s car, parked behind the business at the time, was badly damaged. The car's windows and headlights were knocked out, the tires slashed, and the roof dented. Black paint was sprayed over much of the vehicle and an obscene message was scrawled across the hood.

The report speculates that the vandal is likely a disgruntled customer.

The case has been turned over to MPD detectives for investigation.
