MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A man wanted by police after they say he fired shots into a crowd in Smyrna earlier this week is commenting on the case on the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

The Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Brandon Tylar Mulac is wanted for Attempted First-Degree Murder after he alegedly fired several shots into a crowd of people in front of a home Peachtree Drive in Smyrna on Wednesday.

Last night a posting on Facebook under Mulac’s name appeared on the Sheriff’s Facebook page. The poster commented that the Sheriff’s department is “crooked” and that “the whole justice system is screwed up.”

Responding to another poster’s comment, Mulac responds “I never shot anything yall are ignorant. Who actually believes the media.”

The Sheriff’s Office says seven people, including children, were standing in the Peachtree Street yard when Mulac fired three shots. Two bullets struck the house, but no injuries were reported.
