MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  If you commute into Nashville along I-24 west-bound into Nashville, you no doubt got caught up in Wednesday's traffic delays caused by a wreck at the Waldron Road Exit.

It turns out the multi-car pileup was the result of a road-rage incident.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol report says 53 year-old Cedric Dillard of Smyrna and 43 year-old Randall Hartmann of Christiana have both been charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment and failure to exercise due care in the incident.

The report says Dillard came to a full stop in a west-bond traffic lane. Hartman slammed to halt behind him, initiating a seven care pileup.

Thirty-nine year-old Tina York of Smyrna was injured in the crash and was transported to nearby StoneCrest Medical Center.

The incident took place just after dawn at mile marker 64.

This is the second road-rage incident in Rutherford County this month. A driver was killed last year in a road-rage case in Murfreesboro.
