MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- A Murfreesboro home is likely a total loss following a weekend fire.
Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue responded to a two alarm blaze at 225 Wilson Avenue just before 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
Fire officials say that when the first crew arrived on the scene, they found the home already heavily involved.
Fortunately, no one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.
It only took 15 minutes to get the fire under control, but officials say 75 percent of the home was damaged and will likely be a total loss.
The city Fire Marshall will investigate the blaze.
