The World Looks at the Exit of New York Times Editor Jill Abramson for 5-15

Lots of newsroom chatter today about the abrupt exit of New York Times editor Jill Abramson, the first woman in the job. The news came on the same day the top editor at the French daily Le Monde, also a woman, resigned from her job, citing personal attacks. It got us wondering about journalism and leadership worldwide and whether it's possible to tease out what role, if any, gender plays in these newsroom power struggles. Stay tuned.

Also today, President Obama toured the new September 11th museum, plunging us back into our collective memories of the 2001 terrorist attacks.  For perspective Marco speaks with Elizabeth Greenspan, author of a book about the memorial called Ground Zero. She walks us through the tangled history of creating the memorial and lays out the dilemmas inherent in trying to commemorate and educate at the same time.
