MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (LUSTER)  --  Be Warned! Zombies will be taking over Murfreesboro’s streets tomorrow evening.

The group Youth Empowerment through Arts & Humanities, or YEAH!, is sponsoring the city's first ever Zombie Walk. The organization works to provide arts opportunities for the community’s young people.

The Zombie Walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. downtown at the corner of E. Main St. and Middle Tennessee Blvd. and is free and open to anyone.

YEAH! spokesman Josh Hildebrandt says the event is getting a lot of attention.

“This being our first year we’re expecting close to 150 people at the event. A large amount of that coming from the MTSU community. We’re not telling them what to do except dress up as zombies and walk in appreciation and outreach and awareness for our program.”
