March 3, 2015 – The accomplished composer Mohammed Fairouz, hailed by the BBC World News as “one of the most talented composers of his generation,” will see three world premiere performances of powerfully text-driven works this month and next in Montgomery, New York, and Indianapolis.


– After a critically acclaimed run in St. Louis in June of 2014, composer Ricky Ian Gordon and librettist Royce Vavrek’s opera 27 will now be available to audiences around the globe, with the release of the world premiere recording of the opera on Albany Records. Recorded live in performance throughout the run of the opera, the album is the first commercial recording of a commissioned world premiere from Opera Theatre of Saint Louis.

Clare Bowen of ABC’s Nashville will accompany previously announced Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Member John Oates as the musical entertainment at Nashville Ballet’s largest annual fundraising event, Ballet Ball 2015, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Saturday, March 7.
