The one and only Tony Bennett makes his first-ever appearance at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on December 11. With classics like “Steppin’ Out With My Baby” and “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” Bennett’s remarkable six-decade career includes some of the most memorable songs ever recorded. The legendary vocalist will perform with his jazz quartet and the Nashville Symphony. Highlighted by a holiday song or two, this evening of musical magic is sure to put a sparkle in your season. This concert will also feature a very special guest – Tony’s daughter Antonia Bennett.
Battleground Smokes & Spirits presents straight-ahead jazz with renowned guitarist and educator Geary Moore. Geary brings over 30 years of experience performing with Jack McDuff and Lonnie Smith to his soulful approach to standards and pop classics.

This week on Improvised Thoughts with Beegie Adair we spend some time with the legendary record producer and talent scout Joel Dorn. He is credited with first producing and/or discovering artists such as Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Roberta Flack, Aaron Neville, Bette Midler, Hubert Laws, the Allman Brothers and on and on. He was a principle producer in the golden age of Atlantic Records from the mid-1960s to the mid-70s. Upon leaving Atlantic he worked independently for a number of multi-genre record labels, even founding several of his own.
