WMOT partner Sidelines newspaper reports that the high cost of Tennessee crop land and taxes are making it difficult for the State's farmers to compete with large commercial growers out west. Tennessee are quickly moving toward "niche" farming; ag-enterprises that require little land to succeed.
Special Agent in charge says 80 percent of Tennessee counties reported cases of human trafficking in the last 24 months; 72 percent of those cases involved the trafficking of children.
